From Barry Norback,
I tried calling Joe this am after getting your latest update on our classmates passing, figured i better checkin with Joseph, left a message. I just got a text from his wife Eva telling me that Joseph had died on Feb 9 in the hospital of pneumonia after getting a cold. I'm stunned and in tears, Joe and I did sooooooooo many things together back in the day. We were in the National Guard together etc. There will not be a funeral just family, Eva is in shock two months ago their 30 year old son died so you can imagine her sorrow. I hope you are well. /Barry

Wow, this is so hard to believe. My wife and I visited Joe and Ava just a few months ago at his home in Petaluma. Just prior to that we joined Sqire at his winery in Petaluma. Hard to find the right words. Joe was a great guy and I have nothing but great memories of this man. This is a shock. Ron Kooyman

Joe Moore's passing is most distressing. He had just visited us here at GlenLyona few months back and was still looking (and acting) like the Joe Moore from those high school days.... We had laughs and shared a bottle of Fine Wine. Damn, Damn, Double Damn!
