SCHNEIDER, Enid Hennessy Enid Hennessy Schneider, of Johns Creek, GA, Age 74, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017, after a courageous two year battle against lung cancer. She was born on February 9, 1943 to the late Navy Captain James L. Hennessy and the late Jane Edgerly Hennessy at Fort Benning, GA. Enid was very active at Saint Brigid Catholic Church, had a passion for serving others and volunteered her time with multiple charities. She was a very active partner with her husband in building U.S. Security Associates and brought a loving touch to countless company gatherings. Enid had such a positive impact on everyone around her and a gift for making people feel immediately comfortable in her presence. She was filled with a special grace, charm, poise and spirit and inspired others to be better people in a kind, fun, gentle way. Her bright smile and cheerful disposition lit up any room. Enid was an accomplished artist, an avid Bridge player, lover of Scrabble and Words with Friends, had an extraordinary eye for design and style, a penchant for multiple home renovations, an incredible cook and creator of gourmet Sunday Brunches for her family and many friends. Most importantly, Enid just loved being around her family and friends, finding any excuse to get together and create memories to last a lifetime. Enid is survived by her husband of 52 years and the love of her life, Charles (Chuck) Schneider, her daughter Lisa Dooling (Brian) of Johns Creek, GA, daughter Amy Ruggiero of Basking Ridge, NJ, son Charles Schneider, Jr. (Tanya) of Mountain Lakes, NJ, grandchildren Meghan, Allison, Brian, Colleen, Caitlyn, Joe, Tom, J.P., Mia, and Trey, sister Jane Slusser, of McLean, VA, brother James Hennessy (Claudia) of San Diego, CA and many extended relatives.
