So sad to hear of yet another one of our classmates.passing. I was looking forward to seeing Bill again at the upcoming reunion. He will be missed. Rest in peace, handsome Bill.
Bill Klement - you were kind, fun, caring and generous......and what a Hunk! Wish I'd known you better but so glad we connected in Graeagle a few years ago for breakfast. Wishing your widow happy memories and my sympathy.
It seems like Bill was such a "large" part our lives, literally and figuratively, for so long that it's hard to believe he is gone. We weren't close but I always felt he was good friend. I was able to talk with him a couple of times last year before he died. The years just fell away. I was thankful to have had the chance. I will miss him.
We all will miss Bill. I think of him as a sincerely giving soul. He always had a smile and a love of his friends and family. During Gary's struggles with his heart surgery, Bill was there for him and for me; I will be forever grateful to him for that.. Bill struggled for years with his own health issues but never let it stop him from carrying on with a lot of strength. Warm thoughts to his wife, Bev and wonderful family. .
Like Ken Phelps, I also lived near Bill--his back yard abutted my extended back yard, with a huge tangle of blueberries and a wild thicket of bamboo on the property line. Ditto for all the good comments about him—he was indeed a fine person, plus his natural athletic prowess which I always envied. Sadly, he has now joined a group of fellow classmates that has grown far too big.
