From Barry Norback to Sue Tharp Guerra:

I tried calling Joe (Moore) this am after getting your latest update on our classmates passing, figured i better checkin with Joseph, left a message. I just got a text from his wife Eva telling me that Joseph had died on Feb 9 in the hospital of pneumonia after getting a cold. I'm stunned and in tears, Joe and I did sooooooooo many things together back in the day. We were in the National Guard together etc. There will not be a funeral just family, Eva is in shock two months ago their 30 year old son died so you can imagine her sorrow. I hope you are well. /Barry

From Sue Tharp Guerra,
Bill "Willie" Boeger died on Thurs, Feb. 16 of pancreatic cancer.  He had been given until April before dying, but didn't make it.  I was told that he died peacefully.
His cousin (by marriage), Bob Cooper (class of '60) told me that a memorial service will be held on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 1 PM at the Benicia Veteran's Memorial Hall, 1150 First Street, Benicia, 94510.
Bill's wife, Meredith (Brown, Miramonte class of 62 and Hilary Brown's sister) made the arrangements.  Her address is 1748 Ellie Ct, Benicia, 94510.
Sincerely, Sue

For those who might like to send a message to Bill, click on "Message Center" under "Member Functions" in the left column and enter his name. Look for him as William Boeger. Or, maybe better yet, send him an email at    Bill McGuire

Here is Bill's snail mail address: Bill Boeger, 1748 Ellie Ct, Benicia, CA 94510

This was received from Sue Tharp Guerra:

Frank Feldman has stage 4 lung cancer.  He is in the hospital now so he won't be looking at the Miramonte website.
His cousin Barney Johnson lives across the street from me and Barney told me that "Frank is fading fast" but he knew he would be very happy to receive any cards from any former classmates!
His address is PO Box 487, Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma 74434-0487.  Although I don't think he will be able to see email (because he is in the hospital), his email is

Volney Howard, my best pal these last five+ decades (and roommate in college) passed away on July 14 this past year.
His wife asked me to write the obituary which I did and posted. If you'd like to read what I wrote (kinda humorous as Vol would have liked that), send me an email and I will copy it to you. I don't know how to do that on this site....

Squire Fridell

I just received word that Bob Campbell has passed away and there is a memorial service for him at St. Monica's at 10:00 on February 10th.

The service will be held at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Moraga at 10:30 AM, Friday February 10th. The address is 1001 Camino Pablo, Moraga, CA 94556.

Welcome to the Miramonte classes of 1959 and 1960 website!

This is our private website to communicate with each other and renew old friendships. We have created it to stay in touch, share memories and look forward to reunions, either private or group. We hope you will enjoy using it and feel free to offer suggestions on improvements as we continue to refine it.

Now that you have joined, you are an active participant and can be reached by individual or group email through this site. Those who have not logged on cannot be contacted through this site. Be sure to read the information under the tab “First Time Visitors” to alleviate any worries about privacy of your personal information. Continued information will be forthcoming via emails from this site so please whitelist so our mailings will not be blocked as spam. See instructions for whitelisting on the pulldown menu (arrow to the right) under the “First Time Visitor” Tab.

Also, look at your contact information under Classmate Profiles to check that it is accurate and then fill in your profile information so we can get to know one another again. It was set up to allow you to input a dialog about your past experiences and memories so your unique personality can shine boring list of facts, please. Check out the completed profiles of your classmates to get ideas.

We were prompted to set up this website to minimize the problems involved in organizing a large reunion. The creation of our website made our Reunion Weekend planning much easier and contributed to our successful 55th Reunion. By keeping your information current, you will help us in planning our 60th Miramonte Reunion - if you can wait that long.

We hope you will enjoy the photo galleries we have started under the tab of that name. Some on the committee have contributed old school photos from Nursery School through High School and we have been having fun trying to identify everyone when we were all so young and adorable! Feel free to contribute any photos you may have that would be of interest to many to this gallery. See specific instructions on the “Photo Gallery” page.

Be sure to check out the "Party Line" tab as it functions as a central hub for all information passing through the website. It's much more than a collection of new can post content, photos and videos directly on the page. You can respond to all existing site activity from the Party Line page. This should be your go to page when you want to see what has been happening here and join in on the fun!

We have a unique bond based on shared experiences…we grew up together in a special time and place and have much to celebrate.

We look forward to hearing from all of you and keeping those friendships alive!

Your Website Committee,

Sue Jensen Hansen and Bill McGuire, class of 60 and Bruce Hilger, class of 59
