The world is a little darker with the passing of Chris.
He was a great story teller when he worked as a night auditor for me in Glacier Park.
He once showed me his acreage off the grid outside of Kalispel.
He had numerous vehicles stored there and was always alternating them with others he had stashed around Kalispel and Columbia Falls in 4 separate storage areas.
He spent a lot of spare hours sitting at auctions, ending up with vehicles and other items frequently taken straight to the storage garages.
One day he bought an old Ford at an auction so he wouldn't have to ride his bike home in the rain.

I had such a crush on Chris in high school! He was such a "hottie" then. One awful memory, however, was when he asked me to the Orinda Theater for a movie one afternoon and I was SO uncomfortable that I couldn't sit still. Then I remembered my Mother had served beans with lunch - explaining my unrelenting fidgeting!!! He never asked me out again.
